What are coindrops?
During the broadcast, the TV presenter or viewer can start drawing coins. They set a certain number of coins (300 or more) and the number of people who will receive them (usually 20). When the coin is sent, all viewers will see a treasure chest with a button that says “Catch”. The first 20 people to press the button get coins. Out of these 20 users, the fastest one gets the most Liveme coins.
Some broadcasters also set coin drop targets, which will be displayed as a small chest in the right corner of the screen. Click on the chest to see the target (300 wands, 75 reposts, 3 porches, etc.). When the goal is reached, the coin will drop automatically.
Tips for catching more coins:
Be ready!
Seems obvious, but you have to be ready to hit the Catch button. If you put your phone down or look away for a moment, you won’t get any coins. Go live with a coindrop in advance so that in case you are removed from the air by the administrator, you have time to switch to another one.
Use the best connection
Catching coins is all about speed… so if you have a bad internet connection, it will be harder for you to get coins. Connect to Wi-Fi (or disable Wi-Fi if it’s slower).
Leave and return
If you’re streaming for a long time or notice a slight delay, try leaving and returning to Liveme before the coin drops. I don’t know why, but it really helps.
Finger position
When you know a coin drop is coming, place your finger where the snatch button will appear (it’s the same place every time). If a fall occurs and your finger is not ready, you will miss the coins.
Cut your nails!
Right! I am not kidding. This is of great importance. If you can hear your nails clicking across the screen when pressed, they may be too long. Your device won’t recognize touch until your finger touches the screen, not your fingernail. That extra fraction of a second could cost you a few coins!
Click multiple times
When you see the Catch button, press quickly and at least three times! One click is less effective.
