These popular hosts with millions of diamonds started from ZERO. Everyone who joins Liveme starts from scratch. This fact should be very reassuring because it means you can grow just like them. Here are some tips to get more gifts on your stream.
Set username
It seems obvious, but I see many hosts start streaming before they set a username. After you join the application, Liveme assigns you a common username (LM-546588…). This name lets everyone know that you are a newbie.
You can’t expect your viewers to take you seriously and become givers on your stream if you haven’t taken the time to build your profile.
Upload a beautiful profile photo
Accounts without photos don’t get many views. More views = more likes, followers and GIFTS. You don’t hire a photographer. It doesn’t have to be a glamorous shot. Just go to a well-lit area (perhaps by a window) and take a selfie. That’s all.
Go live
Another obvious point. If you want to receive gifts, you need to go live… FREQUENTLY. And stay live for more than a few minutes. I see a lot of new hosts going live 5-10 times for 1-3 minutes each. How will viewers and potential donors be able to find your broadcasts if you appear and disappear every few minutes?
When you go live, talk to your viewers
Why are you just silently looking at the camera? Or worse, why are you syncing rap songs and making hip-hop hand gestures? Are you filming a music video? Stop it.
Your viewers already know all the lyrics to “Bodak Yellow” by Cardi B. Her shoes are bloodied… we got it! Your viewers want to talk and interact with you, not your trap music playlist. Come up with some cool broadcast ideas and try them out.
Focus on viewers, not gifts
There is a whole list of reasons why viewers send gifts. Not on this list: “because the presenter kept asking for diamonds.” Don’t crave gifts. Talk to your viewers. Answer their questions (relevant). ASK THEM QUESTIONS. When you engage your audience, they will want to support you.
Understand the power of these simple words…
…Thank you. A viewer sent you a gift, shared your broadcast, sent 100 likes? Call him by his name and say thank you. This is possibly the biggest mistake new hosts make. Being so busy looking for big gifts that you ignore likes, shares, and small gifts is a HUGE mistake!
Why do you think 40+ hosts with verified badges still take the time to thank people for sharing and liking their broadcast? This thanks (plus a hello) will get more people to share, like and give…. which will help them become famous.

Run a prize draw
A great way to increase the amount of your diamonds is to organize some kind of competition. There are many different draws that can be played with little or no diamonds.
Support other presenters
Find other successful hosts you like and follow them. Be active on their broadcasts. Get to know them. Some of them will follow you and reciprocate when you go live.
