LiveMe fan-group: real benefit or waste of time?

Creating a fan group may seem like a good idea, but let’s face it, there is almost no tangible benefit. The mechanics are simple: you come up with a name for the fan group, and fans can join it for a token 5 coins. However, the benefits essentially end there.

What do fans get?

A viewer who joins the group gets a badge and a daily gift – one “magic wand” for starpoints. But does it really make a difference? Not particularly. These “bonuses” are rather symbolic, and there is little real benefit from them, because the fan-group adds almost no opportunities for interaction with the broadcaster.

What do broadcasters need it for?

For a streamer, a fan-group is more of a way to increase engagement, but in reality it brings neither income nor special activity from the viewers. So if you’re looking for a tool for real growth and engagement, you’re better off looking at other features, such as more personal interaction in chat or LiveMe’s gaming elements.
