Do you find it difficult to keep viewers live? If your goal is to become successful LiveMe hosts, you need viewers to continue to follow your stream and support you. Here are a few reasons why viewers might leave your broadcast:
You are boring
Sorry to be so direct, but people may not stay on your air, because there is nothing interesting happening there. How long do you expect viewers to stay in your stream while you’re just calmly looking at the camera. You don’t have to put on a show, but at least talk! Ask your viewers questions. Tell me about your day. Be interesting!
You ignore your viewers
This may be the main reason why viewers leave the broadcast. Nobody likes to be ignored. No one. Nobody! Imagine: you walk into a restaurant for dinner and the receptionist doesn’t greet you… she just looks at you, then picks up her phone and starts texting. You say “excuse me, can I have a table” and she looks at you again, then goes back to her phone. How are you feeling? Do you want to give this restaurant your money? Not! In fact, you probably want this admin to be fired.
Viewers may leave your broadcast because you are acting like an administrator. Viewers come into your broadcast, say hi, share the broadcast, like, ask you questions and you just look at them…then text again, play your games, put on your makeup or… [fill in the blank ]. When you ignore the audience… THEY LEAVE.
When someone shares likes or sends spam, call them by name and say, “Thank you.” They didn’t have to do it. If the viewer says “hello” or asks a (appropriate) question, answer it. If your viewers feel appreciated and grateful, THEY WANT TO SUPPORT YOU.
You talk too much
We all have issues we want to talk about and your stream can be a good place to do so. Your “negative vibes” on a particular topic may encourage a few like-minded people to stay and chat with you about the topic. But know that most people don’t really want to hear about your trials and tribulations. They have their own problems and don’t always want to hear about yours.

You keep logging out of the app
This is one of the things broadcasters should stop doing. When you pause the broadcast to answer a call or send a text, the video broadcast freezes. Sometimes the broadcast resumes when you return, but sometimes the viewer must leave and re-enter the broadcast in order to correct the video. Many viewers may not bother to return…especially since you don’t seem to care about your broadcast anyway.
Your music is too loud
You cannot expect viewers to stay on your broadcast if you hurt their ears. Turn down the music or use another device to play it. Your viewers want to hear you, not your playlist. Your music should be in the background…not the main attraction of your Liveme stream.
You only ask for a gift
Every host loves gifts. But if you make it clear that diamonds are the only reason you’re broadcasting, many viewers won’t stay on your broadcast. Why? What if the viewer has no coins? MOST of your viewers will not have many (or none) coins. Therefore, constant requests for gifts on the air will alienate most of your viewers. You might be thinking, “So what? If they can’t give me diamonds, what do I care if they leave my broadcast.” Well, first of all, this “diamond thirst” attitude doesn’t inspire people to support you… and makes you sound like a jerk. Second, sending gifts is NOT the only way a viewer can support your broadcast. Like, share and chat helps to get attention on the air (your broadcast will appear on the main page of LiveMe).
